Call for Papers: Emerging Technologies
Ecosphere, the ESA's rapid-publication, open-access journal, is launching a new category: Emerging Technologies. This new section will feature scientific papers using a wide array of approaches and technologies to address ecological questions or test hypotheses, such as:
- Applications of machine learning–computer visualization, acoustic recognition, game and decision theory
- Robotics and devices–location tracking, wireless sensor networks
- Integrated software solutions – human-computer interactions and visualization engines
- New developments or refinements in traditional technologies–statistical methods, simulation models, image analysis
The Emerging Technologies track is being led by Dr. Lucas Joppa, Associate Editor-in-Chief of Ecosphere. Contact Dr. Joppa for additional information or questions.
All articles published in Ecosphere are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download, and share. To cover the cost of publishing, we charge a publication fee of $1250 USD for ESA members or $1500 US for non-members. Become an ESA member today!
